Starfruit

I don't know why I am thinking about starfruits right now. We had a starfruit tree back in China outside our school. I trust you have tasted a starfruit before. When you cut a starfruit into slices they appear to been star-shaped. Quite cute actually. They taste okay for me. Do you know that starfruit flowers are magenta and smell + taste like starfruits? When I was in China my friends and I used to pick some flowers from the starfruit tree and eat it. Hehehhhe. I've seen starfruits here in Canada, but I don't wanna buy one because I don't think they will taste as fresh, probably due to the fact they were shipped here or something. Still, it's a fun fruit. Very good for fruit salad and dish decoration!
