The Son of Neptune, this book I ordered a long time ago has arrived! My dad is picking it up from the library tomorrow...can't wait to read it! I have waited at least three months for this book. Gosh. Yep. I need more reading materials. I don't read enough.

Sleepy...Again

My mom dragged me to gown shopping today pour mon piano recital...and that took the whole morning and half of the afternoon. I was so tired...So tired of trying on gowns after gowns take them off putting them off non stop. Do you know how hard it is for me to buy a formal gown? First, a lot of gowns make me look 24. Oui. Too mature. Then there's the size problem. Sometimes they are just too big! Sometimes they are too small...and too tight...then there's COLOR. I needed red only for my performance (cuz the color theme is closely related to the piece I am playing) RED RED RED RED RED. Then we found it----the perfect one. OMG It looked really really really nice. I had to wear it tonight because we had to do photoshoot. My mom put makeup on me (GOD I HATE MAKEUP ESPECIALLY LIPSTICKS CUZ THEY TASTE BAD) and necklace. Dude. Why am I talking about such girly things. This is so unlike moi. But oh well. My mom is like "OH EVENTUALLY I WILL MAKE U GIRLY AND DO YOUR HAIR AND GIVE YOU GIRLY CLOTHES AND BASICALLY MAKE YOU REALLY GIRLY" Eh. I IZ TRANSFORMER. But for now, I am not going to spend much time on appearance in normal school life because that might turn my focus away from my studies. Oui oui. Only on special occasions I would dress up. Oui oui.

SUN SUN SUN HERE IT COMES

Wow, we are getting a lot of sunshine today! Right now it is very sunny. My mom told me not to watch TV because our TV is right beside the balcony and the sunshine would be bad for my eyes. Oh well. Now comp time then. Must search up more videos! Strike day 1. Did Chinese math in the morning. It was pretty fun, but some of the questions were hard as well. I guess I will just have to get use to it!

Sleepy

I feel so sleepy right now...and it's not even 8:00pm yet. I just finished dinner and now I feel extremely tired and sleepy for some reason. Oh, how I want to hug my pillows and just sleep! But I can't, because I have to do the dishes and Chinese math and blah blah bleh. Gah. I think it must've been all the golf practice I had this afternoon. I hit 120 golf balls and practiced my full swings. Basically I had to do a warmup, then 20 perfect swings hitting the tee and then tonnes of pratice swings before actually hitting the golf ball. I am making progress :p The consistency is going up, so I am very happy. But now I am very tired because I had a busy day (tutor alllllll morning + golf+piano in afternoon) Gah. I wanna go to sleep! I guess I will have to eat some fruit to make me full so that I won't wanna sleep as much.

Dryness Everywhere

I seriously need to drink more water. But....I already drank a lot! It's just so weird. I've never felt this dry before. My lips are dry, my nose feels dry, my throat is dry....but my skin is not dry! For some reason, these days our apartment got a lot drier than usual...I guess I will have to put a glass of water beside my bed so I don't dry up too quickly like fish outta water :P

Fiver day weekend! That means moar tutoring, moar Chinese math and moar piano practicing! I is excited.

Sorry For the Late Blog

Gah! I am so pathetic...sorry for the late blog! I was staying up to finish my theory homework. Normally I would save some for tomorrow to finish after tutoring, but tomorrow my mom is gonna take me to this lecture thingy so I would not be home in the morning. I think tomorrow what my mom will do is that she will meet me at my student's house and then we will take the bus to our destination. Then afterward we will have lunch at about 12:30 or 1 ish and then I will go to theory at 2:00pm. Then after that I come home, eat dinner and go tutoring again. Busy busy Saturday...as usual. But I get to watch movies tomorrow night after tutoring! Yay! I can't wait to finish up all of my McDull movies. I already watched The Story of McDull tonight and part of McDull Ding Ding Dong. Tomorrow I am probably gonna finish that one and perhaps watch the McDull Prince de la Bun as well. It's a good way to learn Cantonese :)

Holocaust Education Centre

Today we went to the Jewish Community Centre (think that's what it's called) and went to the Holocaust Education Centre. This was for English because we were studying a comic book called Maus and it's about the Holocaust. What we did today is that this lady showed us this really good short film on the Jews during the Holocaust and omg it was incredible. Kinda sad too. Then the best part. We got a survivor of the Holocaust to talk to us! He is 77 years old and he was a child during the Holocaust. Basically during the Holocaust his family was living in Budapest, Hungary and his dad was a doctor. But then he got taken away and I think he mentioned his dad died in a concentration camp. He, his mom and his little brother were taken to the ghetto. Then he described all the hard living in the ghetto. It was just so emotional and I felt really really sad. I just don't get it. Why would such a terrible thing like the Holocaust happen?! It just makes me mad. He also talked about how they were almost killed but the German officer changed his mind, and that was how he survived. He also told us that his grandpa was killed while marching to one of the camps. He was shot when he tried to stop an officer from beating up an old guy. That just made me even sadder :'( I was really really sad when I walked home with Carina today. This trip to the Holocaust Education Centre is really powerful and I've definitely learned many impotant things.
