Gah

Sorry I didn't blog yesterday! I was really busy because I had tutor and came back late and had to finish up some theory work. Now then, here's mon make up blog:

Yesterday we went around singing! It was pretty fun and we made good money. Mr. Sale's class and Ms. Springer's class are so generous! They donated the most. :p

After tutor me and mon pop went to Oakridge to get food because I was hungry. First we went to St. Germaines to get yummy baked goods. Then Safeway. I bought: 1 box of strawberries, 1 bag of grapes, 1 box of mon favorite yogurt, 2 canned mushroom soup (pour laziness), 1 stack of juice boxes, 1 jug of soy milk and 2 boxes of chocolate CHUNK cookies!!!

Yum yum yum. Me love food.

Viv's Potatoes

OMG today Viv brought those yummy-looking potatoes for lunch~~~I asked for the recipe, and she said her mom baked the potatoes and added seasoning and some onions. YUM. I am gonna try making this dish because it looks so delicious! I love potatoes. Oh btw this afternoon I made some potato wedges! Tasted so good. I am glad today I baked them nice and soft, and they taste EXCELLENT with ketchup. Yum.

Sour Mango

I just finished a sour mango. Oh god was it SOUR. When I picked it up it looked really ripe, so I thought maybe it would taste juicy and sweet. BUT IT LIED TO ME. WHY MANGO. WHY MUST YOU LIE TO ME. Anyways, I chopped up the mango and put one slice in my mouth. It made me grimace. The sourness was just TOO MUCH. Still I had to eat the whole plate because my mom didn't wanna eat the sour mango. So I just ate it. So lonely. SOURRRRRRR GAHH. Next time I will eat apples.

Burger

Today for lunch I brought a little burger I made this morning! I used to bring red bean buns and bread + juice for lunch, but my dad says I need more nutrition. So he bought me some chicken patties, a bag of burger buns and slices of cheese. I already tried these burgers last week and they taste really good, so this morning I got up early to fry one of the patties for my lunch. My mom also bought me this cute container for mon burger. I cooked the patty for 10 minutes and put it on the sliced buns, then added one slice of cheese. Then I covered up the cheese and the whole burger was done! :p And it fit perfectly inside the little container! :p During lunch I went to the cafeteria and microwaved it and it tasted pretty good. That was good lunch. Nom.

Woot First Day Back

Today was actually pretty good. Oui oui. I was glad to be back. And today is Mr.Olson's Birthday! Here's a big simon's cat animal band pour your B-day! Enjoy!

For socials we have two assignments. The first one is creating a web thingy for the industrial revolution. The other one is preparing for a debate. We had 10 groups of three. Each group chose four topics. Next class Mr. Martin is gonna tell us which topic we are gonna use. I am really excited for this debate! I think it's gonna be really really fun!

French was AWESOME today! We watched Ratatouille-----one of my favourite movies of all time! Remmy is sooooo adorable. The movie made me wanna eat~~~~~

Overall today was a fun day. Once again, I am glad to be back!

School Tomorrow!

Oui oui, my friend...tomorrow we will be back in school. YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAY. Back to normal.

Basically during spring break I was even busier than on school days. I was really occupied. But it was also very fun as well, because I've had a fulfilling spring break with a packed schedule.

My psychology is getting a bit creepy as well.

I have learned to accept things and adapt. This is kinda scary. Basically I just accepted that I have to do all these chores during spring break and I can't really push these things off.

Hmmm

Hmmm, haven't blogged for quite a while! I am actually not that sure whether we are suppose to do blogs during spring break or not. I have written several blogs in the beginning of spring break, but Mr. Olson only replied once and said that he will be in Mexico 'til the 25th or something like that. Oh well. But now I am back! After such a long time!

My spring break is pretty much filled with events. But yesterday me and Car went to Leslie's house! We had yummy lunch (thanks for the turkey ham sandwich Les! So yummmmmmmy) and then went outside to play tennis. Apparently we all suck on the court so we just hit tennis ball against the wall. It was pretty fun, and we almost hit the ball onto the roof of the school building a couple of times. That. was.scary. Then we came back after an hour of fun outdoor tennis and watched Spirited Away. One of my favorite movies!!!!! <3333333 Oh Chihiro. That brave little girl. And No Face. That creepy spirit thingy. Ehhhh.

After that we said goodbye to Les and left her house and bused home. When I got home I practiced piano. I am getting a daily 3 hr piano practice (except yesterday) so I think my piano will improve a lot after spring break!

Good Lunch

SUCH GOOD LUNCHES. -.- mom too lazy to cook. I just ate what was left in the fridge. And strawberries.

Today's lunch: corn + mini-pizza

Yay. A little more variety to the menu.

Weird Weather These Days

K. So on Monday we had this freaky wind. Then Tuesday-----sunshine!!!!! Today-----freaky wind +SNOW. It's March. Come on. The weather is scary these days. Me NO GUSTA... I think it's still snowing outside. Weird. It's been snowing since....I dunno, 9:00am? Weird, just weird.

Grass Grass Grass

I am improving a lot in golf after many practices so last class my teacher took me onto the course (before we only practiced on those mats and tees) I remember doing golf practices with my dad on the course and grass felt different than the mats. For example, there are more little "hills" on the course, whereas on a mat it would be all flat. That day we were trying out doing shots on the course. I hit some good shots and a number of bad shots as well with the pivot before the ball. Basically at the beginning chunks of grass were flying as I hit the golf balls. Then afterwards when I was doing my practice after class I was getting a lot better! A lot of my pivots were after the ball (which is good) weeeeeeeeeeee can hit good shots! I need more practice. After that we spent like 10 minutes picking up all the chunks of grass that flew and put them back where they were supposed to be :p

Plans for Spring Break

Since spring break starts tomorrow...I've made some plans for how I would spend the whole break! So....
-Tutor (4 hours on regular days, 6 hours on sundays and wednesdays)
-Chinese math
-Reading
-Theory
-PIANOOOOOO
-McDull
-Golf

Plus a bit extra time to just finish any school work that's left for the break. But overall I think my plan is pretty good. This is just a rough sketch. I am just outlining the events I would do during the break. I might go to special events...I don't know. But what I DO know is that my break is pretty well occupied! Me happy

Weird Lips

My lips are weird right now...they are dry...I never got dry lips for such a long period of time (since last week). I think this might be related to the fever I had. It's just weird. If I try to lick it I might irritate the invisble cuts in them (don't know how that happened) Weird. Just weird. I drink plenty of water. I eat plenty of fruits. Why aren't my lips back to the way they used to be------the normal way?! I am very irritated by them. Sometimes they go itchy as well...which is even more weird. I think my lips may be secretly peeling. Ugh. Me No Gusta

The Son of Neptune, this book I ordered a long time ago has arrived! My dad is picking it up from the library tomorrow...can't wait to read it! I have waited at least three months for this book. Gosh. Yep. I need more reading materials. I don't read enough.

Sleepy...Again

My mom dragged me to gown shopping today pour mon piano recital...and that took the whole morning and half of the afternoon. I was so tired...So tired of trying on gowns after gowns take them off putting them off non stop. Do you know how hard it is for me to buy a formal gown? First, a lot of gowns make me look 24. Oui. Too mature. Then there's the size problem. Sometimes they are just too big! Sometimes they are too small...and too tight...then there's COLOR. I needed red only for my performance (cuz the color theme is closely related to the piece I am playing) RED RED RED RED RED. Then we found it----the perfect one. OMG It looked really really really nice. I had to wear it tonight because we had to do photoshoot. My mom put makeup on me (GOD I HATE MAKEUP ESPECIALLY LIPSTICKS CUZ THEY TASTE BAD) and necklace. Dude. Why am I talking about such girly things. This is so unlike moi. But oh well. My mom is like "OH EVENTUALLY I WILL MAKE U GIRLY AND DO YOUR HAIR AND GIVE YOU GIRLY CLOTHES AND BASICALLY MAKE YOU REALLY GIRLY" Eh. I IZ TRANSFORMER. But for now, I am not going to spend much time on appearance in normal school life because that might turn my focus away from my studies. Oui oui. Only on special occasions I would dress up. Oui oui.

SUN SUN SUN HERE IT COMES

Wow, we are getting a lot of sunshine today! Right now it is very sunny. My mom told me not to watch TV because our TV is right beside the balcony and the sunshine would be bad for my eyes. Oh well. Now comp time then. Must search up more videos! Strike day 1. Did Chinese math in the morning. It was pretty fun, but some of the questions were hard as well. I guess I will just have to get use to it!

Sleepy

I feel so sleepy right now...and it's not even 8:00pm yet. I just finished dinner and now I feel extremely tired and sleepy for some reason. Oh, how I want to hug my pillows and just sleep! But I can't, because I have to do the dishes and Chinese math and blah blah bleh. Gah. I think it must've been all the golf practice I had this afternoon. I hit 120 golf balls and practiced my full swings. Basically I had to do a warmup, then 20 perfect swings hitting the tee and then tonnes of pratice swings before actually hitting the golf ball. I am making progress :p The consistency is going up, so I am very happy. But now I am very tired because I had a busy day (tutor alllllll morning + golf+piano in afternoon) Gah. I wanna go to sleep! I guess I will have to eat some fruit to make me full so that I won't wanna sleep as much.

Dryness Everywhere

I seriously need to drink more water. But....I already drank a lot! It's just so weird. I've never felt this dry before. My lips are dry, my nose feels dry, my throat is dry....but my skin is not dry! For some reason, these days our apartment got a lot drier than usual...I guess I will have to put a glass of water beside my bed so I don't dry up too quickly like fish outta water :P

Fiver day weekend! That means moar tutoring, moar Chinese math and moar piano practicing! I is excited.

Sorry For the Late Blog

Gah! I am so pathetic...sorry for the late blog! I was staying up to finish my theory homework. Normally I would save some for tomorrow to finish after tutoring, but tomorrow my mom is gonna take me to this lecture thingy so I would not be home in the morning. I think tomorrow what my mom will do is that she will meet me at my student's house and then we will take the bus to our destination. Then afterward we will have lunch at about 12:30 or 1 ish and then I will go to theory at 2:00pm. Then after that I come home, eat dinner and go tutoring again. Busy busy Saturday...as usual. But I get to watch movies tomorrow night after tutoring! Yay! I can't wait to finish up all of my McDull movies. I already watched The Story of McDull tonight and part of McDull Ding Ding Dong. Tomorrow I am probably gonna finish that one and perhaps watch the McDull Prince de la Bun as well. It's a good way to learn Cantonese :)

Holocaust Education Centre

Today we went to the Jewish Community Centre (think that's what it's called) and went to the Holocaust Education Centre. This was for English because we were studying a comic book called Maus and it's about the Holocaust. What we did today is that this lady showed us this really good short film on the Jews during the Holocaust and omg it was incredible. Kinda sad too. Then the best part. We got a survivor of the Holocaust to talk to us! He is 77 years old and he was a child during the Holocaust. Basically during the Holocaust his family was living in Budapest, Hungary and his dad was a doctor. But then he got taken away and I think he mentioned his dad died in a concentration camp. He, his mom and his little brother were taken to the ghetto. Then he described all the hard living in the ghetto. It was just so emotional and I felt really really sad. I just don't get it. Why would such a terrible thing like the Holocaust happen?! It just makes me mad. He also talked about how they were almost killed but the German officer changed his mind, and that was how he survived. He also told us that his grandpa was killed while marching to one of the camps. He was shot when he tried to stop an officer from beating up an old guy. That just made me even sadder :'( I was really really sad when I walked home with Carina today. This trip to the Holocaust Education Centre is really powerful and I've definitely learned many impotant things.
