Mushroom Feast

Mushroom is one of my favorite foods. Yum. I love them. So today my mom bought me a lot of mushrooms, and we cooked them and ate them. Mmmmmmm it was like HEAVEN. It was a gorgeous mushroom feast. Mushrooms are VERY nutritious and yummy. My favorite ones are the oyster mushrooms ad black mushrooms. Wild mushrooms are also good stuff. Yep. Love them~~~~~~Do you like mushrooms? Sweet Cheese

OMG I just found out that there are SWEET cheeses out there! I am not kidding! Yesterday I bought a box of brownies with cheese whip on top and the cheese tastes sweet! Just ask April and Jessie! OMG OMG OMG...it tastes like heaven!Mmmmmm it's goood.......yeah....pure gold...Yum yum yum. I love it. I am suppose to hate cheeses, but this one tastes absolutely magnificent. You hear me? MAGNIFICENT. Just go to safeway and buy these brownies with a white topping. Yes...it's cheese alright...

Sleep+Dream

Plenty of sleep is all it takes to make yourself gorgeous. Yep. Today I slept like a dead pig 'til 9:30. I know some of you guys probably wouldn't even wake up til'12 on weekends. But I had to get up and do some work. My dream from last night was weird. I dreamt of two dead guys in a lake. Then there was a big tide and everything just went woosh. And I found a crab in my dream. But then I accidentally squished it. Sighhhh... I hate greenish water. I am very scared of water. No, not the kind we drink. I am not very good at swimming so whenever I see a lake or the ocean or some kind of pond or pool filled with greenish or bluish water I would shiver. ERRRRRRRRWEWEAE....

Alliance Francais

So this is my new French class at Alliance Fracais------a French cultural and learning centre. I didn't start from the beginning because it already started on January 7 (I registered this Monday, so yeah). The teacher was awesome. She's this really funny old lady. So she was like, "Okay now I am going to hand these stupid tests to you stupid students" Hahahahahaa that was really hilarious. And one of the boys in our class was goofing around, so she was like, "Ahhh don't be a stupid boy" in a really weird French accent. But overall the class was really cool and I was able to come up with some new and cool words. NonOOOMOMMM I love my new French class.

More Freaky Clay Sculptures

Okay today we had clay for Art again. Man I enjoy claywork. So today I made two more freaky sculptures that freaked out Leslie and Tony. The first one was a guy with a bulging kidney. But then I sculpted the kidney on the wrong place so I had to change to title to "The Pregnant Man". Now that really, really derped out the two people around me.But then it sounded kinda wrong so I switched it to "The Man with the Beer Belly". Hahahahah. The second one was a sculpture of a woman. It was more of an abstract sculpture but it was still pretty cool. Yep. That's me. The person who makes freaky sculptures...

I AM ?

Okay. Here's the thing. I am WEIRD. NOBODY in the class has ever lived like me before. And guess what: I like being weird! Hahahahaha! HERE'S A LIST OF THE THINGS THAT I DID...

1: I ate a cactus without peeling it...my tongue felt really itchy at that time...
2: I had a pet daddy-long -leg which lived right beside my bed.
3: I killed my four pet goldfish
    -two of them died 'cause I overfed them (I didn't know fish has no brain)
    -the other two died simply because I gave them tiny ants as snacks.
4. I killed my two pet ducklings when I was five due to inappropriate handling
5. I often torture the bugs I don't like.
6. I adore mushrooms
7. Once I found this smelly herb which smelled like rotten fish, and I blended into juice and put it in a bag and scared away all the boys in my class
8. I ENJOY YUMMY FOOD
9. I enjoy flooding ant hills
10. I went fishing twice and caught two shrimps on my fishing rod. No fish.
11. The wall of my grandma's house is filled with my graffiti.
12. My friends and I went treasure-hunting and we found four tiny watermelons the size of a pebble. I stored mine in the fridge 'til they shrank
13. My friends(mostly guys 'cause some of the girls were just too girly so yeah) and I had rotten fruits fights all the time. Sometimes we play mushroom-soccer or something like that.

I Made a Scary Sculpture

So today we had clay again for Art (yayyyyyy clay luv it to the max). Clay was really fun because we got to squish it and sculpt it into whatever we wanted. I made this really ugly and scary guy...and Tony got really freaked out when I chopped my sculpture's head in half. The guy's mouth was pretty cool...I just dug the end of a paint brush into the soft clay and made a hole. Again, the freaky image of the guy with a pencil in his mouth really disturbed Tony (the sculpture looked like it was trying kill itself by putting a "gun" in its mouth). But overall it was pretty fun. I think when the sculpture is ready I am gonna paint it with acrylic and glaze it to make it nice and shiny. The end...Woohoo!!!!!!!

First Ever Negative Kid of the Week

Hahhhhhhhahahahaha. Today I got Negative Kid of the Week. So awesome. Thank you Mr.Olson....I know people usually get "Kid of the Week"------a nice title for all the positive and interesting things they've done during the week. Well I got a Negative Kid of the Week for my evil deed. No, I did NOT kill someone...I just did something and Mr. Olson "shed" his tears because of it. Full detail not available here. Anyway, Mr. Olson and a few other Synergy kids, you know what I am talking about. This is quite gorgeous because I was the first kid of the week for this year and the first negative kid of the week. Yayyyyyy~~~~~~~~

Why are So Many Asians Addicted to Manga

Manga is like some kind of drug. It's like magic mushroom in a book shape.

Manga is awesome. Shonen Jump is cool. Shojo is NOT.

Action manga is cool...remember to say no to romance and mature (you shouldn't be reading mature...)

Cartwheel

Uggggggghhhhh I still can't do the cartwheel! Why am I not so flexible! Man, I should have never quit dancing when i was little. Anyway I have made many attempts at cartwheel but failed miserably. My arm strenghth is like, nooooooooooooo wayyyyyy. So today at Gymnas I practiced cartwheels many times and at the end my arms and legs hurt so much. Owwwww. I think next time I should bring some pillows with me...

Clay

Today we did clay in Art class. I have tried clay before, and I liked it very much. During the class we each sculpted a pinch pot------now that's something I have never made before! So I molded the clay into the right shaped, and dug my finger into the center of the clay and made a small tunnel. And then I made the edge of the hole into a flower-shaped thing, while keeping the bottom of the pot nice and smooth. Sometimes the clay would crack, and that was when I need to get a little bit of water to moisturize the clay. At the end my pot kinda looked like a sea anemone. Ha ha ha. Not bad. NOT UNTIL I DROPPED THE WHOLE THING! One side of the pot got flattened. Uh-oh...looks like I have to fix it the next class!

YES I AM AS GOOD AS NEW NOW

I was sick yesterday and the day before yesterday. I had a terrible fever and my throat was torturing me. My mom got mad at me for eating that burning hot taco shell. Anyway I FEEL MUCH BETTER TODAY after a good night's sleep. Today I am up and running. I ate chocolate while my mom was not looking. Man it's good to be able to eat yummy food again. So right now I am doing Photoshop. I am creating a signature for one of my clan members on the Sale website.

I did NOT DRAW ALL OF THIS. It's more like a collage...but it took me 15 minutes to get it done...I am slow...

My Life is Sad :(

I feel really depressed today. I just had a fever yesterday and I am still in a bad shape today. My face looked like a yellow sponge. Uggggggghhhh. What's worst is that my dad brought so many yummy things today. Yeah, yummy things I couldn't eat until the third day! You see, my dad brought them on purpose. He's planning to eat all of them while I was sick. Smart dad. Very SMART. I blame the taco shells. Two days ago I deep fried two taco shells and ate them immediately and drank nothing afterward. I knew it was bad for my throat but I ate anyway. Now I feel so down...why taco shell why must you punish me...

Fever

Ugghhhhhhh...I am having a bad fever right now. This morning I felt kinda dizzy and my throat was burning hot, but I went to school anyway. But when I came back home I felt really bad and had to take a nap...the nap continued for three hours and I still feel feverish right now. I just ate some plain rice porridge (I think it's what they call "congee" in Cantonese). Usually my mom wouldn't let me eat anything else until the third day. Painful, huh? Now I have to stay away from all my yum yums (junk food) for three days. Oh, yeah, I thought I wasn't gonna make today's blog, but it looks like I can still move around the house...

Gymnas...

Today I had Gymnastics again for PE. I seem to be having trouble with gymnastics because I am so not flexible. Sigh...I was not able to do the cartwheel. When I tried it I just flipped sideways and ended up on my bum. Hah hah hah. But hey today I finally got the right way to do a flip! Yes! And this time I did not hurt my neck! Last time I did it incorrectly and ouch my neck hurt. I also tried the teddy bear stand and lasted for about 3 seconds, then my whole body collapsed. The bridge was even funnier. I could lift my whole body but not my head... my arms were just not strong enough to support everything. Depressed...I have to work harder now, because if I want to get an A in PE I have to do a good job.

That's Our Experiment!

Okay, so today we did this experiment for our science assignment. We were suppose to find out the density of a person------and unfortunately, Les became our guinea pig. We filled the bath tub with 90 L of water and she jumped in, and taped the risen water level. Then she jumped out and we poured about 66 L of water to reach the tape. So that was the volume. But we still needed the mass, but fortunately Les remembered her weight from two weeks ago and we had volume + mass. Okay, so the formula goes like this... Density equals Mass divided by Volume (Or so I remembered:  Dumplings equals Mushroom divided by veggies). We got a fascinating result------Les' has less density than water! Holy Cheese Cake with Carrots! Oh, that's why humans float on top of the water...Shunnnnnnn...

Arghhhhhhhhhhh

Oh no! The brain project is technically due tomorrow! I am having a nervous breakdown right now. I mean, I have only got about 15 slides and I still need to make up a speech and print out the activity sheets! Meowwwwwwww (okay that was random)!!! I wanna perfect my slide and I also need to check whether I have already hit the all the bloom levels or not. Noooooooo!!!!! Well some people didn't even start yet! OMG! Anyway, I am super frightened right now. Sigh...this is so not like me! Now I am actually hoping for an extension! Well, I better get to work now...

My First Ever Book Talk

Yes, I DID IT! I finally did my first book talk! *High five* I wasn't too nervous this morning about doing the book talk because I am experienced at doing speeches (I just never did a book talk!). So there I was, presenting one of my favorite books, Battle Royale. OMG that book is so awesome. You just HAVE TO READ IT. It made the Hunger Games look lameeeee(Sorry Suzanne Collins). Anyway, back to the topic. So I have this prepared speech (all written out and nicely done) and a Photoshoped visual (Yes Photoshop). Once I got up there I just started talking and talking and talking... I think I did a pretty decent job! Not bad for a first-time book talker! Yesssssssss!!!!!!!!!!

Today is a BUSY DAY

Okay. So today my dad went to the eye doctor and got his eye exanime. His pupils got soooo big he looked like he had cat eyes. Well, enough of my dad. Let's talk about ME AND MY MOM. Today we went to Michael's and De Serre to look for acrylic paint and a display board for my science project. We found out that the acrylic paint is WAYYYYY cheaper at Michael's than at De Serre. But Michael's is just like a general art store, while De Serre is more like a store for professional artists. De Serre has been one of my favorite art store for some time (I bought this Italian easel there. It cost me 200 bucks but today I went there and they reduced the price for 50%. Argghhhhh).I couldn't find any display board at De Serre so I bought a green one at Michael's. At the end we bought everything at Michael's (however if I want to buy canvases it would be better at De Serre 'cause it's cheaper. Yuppers~~~`)

Juice

Okay, today, we are going to talk about JUICE. Why? Because it's related to my science project! You see, for my science project I must spray plant juice onto crickets and see how they react to it. So, I prepared freshly squeezed mint juice, onion juice, garlic juice, chives juice and hot chili pepper juice(OW!) They smell terrible but look really pretty in the beaker. The garlic juice smells the worse. The hot chili pepper juice just makes people's throat dry and eyes watery and boy I guarantee you wouldn't stop coughing when you take a whiff at it. The chives juice------smells terrible as well. Ewwwwwwwwww. The onion juice is just as bad. The mint one is my favorite. It's not stinky...in fact, it has a rather fresh smell. Oh oh oh oh I just remember there's this kind of herb in my old garden and its juice smells like dead fish...I used to scare the boys in my class with that plant juice. Heheheheheh.

Oh The Crickets

Today I let my crickets go. My first experiment is done but only 9 crickets are dead, so I gather up all the live ones and put them in a plastic bag and let my dad take them down to the park and let them go. I just can't kill them...Maybe it's because of that heart of mine that I took pity on these little guys. I am not really sure if they will survive in the wild or not, but at least they will have a chance to live. My second and third bunch of crickets are going to arrive at my house on Saturday, so I need to make some room for them. After that I am probably gonna let the live ones go------and hope they can make it.

I Feel So Sleepy Today!

Today's weather was pretty bad. It was a bit cold as well, and of course, WET (because of the rain). I hate this kind of weather. I had a really bad headache this afternoon (I thought my head was gonna explode into bits but that was just my wild imagination). My mood swing was acting up again and I was kinda grumpy. Oh yeah, did I mention that I felt VERY SLEEPY today? Okay, it started after my third block with Ms. Fowler. So when I was at the computer lab for our Applied Skills class, I suddenly felt really tired. Maybe it was the weather. Or maybe it was just me returning back to normal from my winter break. Anyway I felt hungry as well, so when I got back home I baked a mini-pizza and made a fruit salad and consumed the whole thing. The END.

Oh the Crickets!

Remember I got 50 crickets yesterday? Well, they are just so NOISY! Last night I DID NOT sleep well because these annoying little things were chirping in unison like crazy. They chirped all the time. When I was up this morning eating my breakfast they were chirping; when I came back home from school they were still chirping, and right now they are still chirping as well! Well, I just hope they can STOP, because I think I am going insane from all the noises they've made. I wonder if I can sleep well tonight...

Crickets------Chirp Chirp

Today I bought a box of crickets from PJ'S PETS for my science project (the termites are not coming along so I had to switch to crickets). I chose a box containing fifty three-week-old crickets and they all looked healthy. In fact, they looked too healthy: fat legs, googly eyes and well...fat bodies! Uh, it was kinda gross, holding the crickets, even though they were in a container. There were some dead ones too...but it was only like, what, two of them? So the rest of the crickets were good and lively. While I was waiting for the bus, I grew worried: what if they become too chilly and die? So I put the container in a bag so that the wind could be kept out. When I got home I quickly took the container out and put it under the light. Oh no, all the crickets looked...dead. I began to panic, but quickly calmed down at the sight of a cricket stirring. Soon all of them (except the two dead ones) became lively again under the light (because of the heat?). Hmm...looks like I can still perform my experiment tomorrow.

First Day of 2011!

Wow, can you believe it? It's 2011 already! WOOHOO! It's a brand new year!!! I am soooo excited! I feel so nice and fresh and well...you know the feelings. Too bad we have to go back to school on Tuesday! I still want to enjoy plenty of food and sleep...Hmm...I think I have to make some new year's resolution. Well, I want to: 1)gain some weight if I can (cause I am too skinny), 2) reduce the amount of time I sleep every day. Okay, that's basically it! Happy new year everyone!
