Boy, am I excited today! Our English teacher, Ms. Greskiw told us that we will be going to Granville Island for the Writer's Festival in October------ and guess what, we will get a chance to meet Kenneth Oppel! The cost of the trip, however, is 17 dollars, and our transportation fee will be 8 dollars. But I think it's all worth it.
Meanwhile, another field trip is going to happen in the same month: the Vancouver Playhouse! The whole English class will go and see a world famous play called The Fantasticks. This play is the longest running play in the world, and it has been played all over the world! These are the special events which will happen next month, and I cannot wait to enjoy the fun.
